GENERAL

Q: Will this work on a PC?

A: Yes! While PC software often excludes Mac users, we're not going to hold a grudge! iChat AV is not yet available for PC users but AOL AIM Video IM is virtually the same software and can be downloaded here.

Q: What camera do I need?

A: You can use:

-Any FireWire ready camcorder, or
-Any third-party web camera, or
-iSight - Apple's own web cam made exclusively for use with iChat AV

Q: What software do I need?

A: Either iChat AV for the Mac or AOL AIM Video IM for the PC. For downloads see below:

-PC (Windows XP) - download AOL AIM 5.5 AND AIM Video IM here
-Mac OS X v10.3 or later - download iChat AV 2.1 here

You also need a cable, DSL, or other broadband connection that is 100 Kbps or faster

MEMBER FEATURES

Q: What is my Control Panel?

A: The Control Panel gives an overview of your account, including the membership package you are enrolled in, members you have contacted, and the status of other members logged onto iChatNaked.com. You can also use the Control Panal to quickly search member profiles or make changes to your own.

Q: What is my Communicator?

A: The Communicator is where the naked chatting action starts! Here you have access to the iChatNaked.com internal mail system where you can write new messages to members or read your hot love letters, all without the evils of Spam! (just click on the Compose or Inbox icons in the top right)

-Hot members are members you have picked out as someone you want to keep your eye on (and no, we don't mean stalking!).
-Blocked members are members that unfortunately got on your nerves and needed a cyber restraining order.
-Kissed members are members that you've "smiled at from across the room" to see if there is interest before contacting them for a naked chat
-Viewed members lists chatter profiles you have taking a glance at.
-Contacted members are members you have sent a message to (which hopefully leads to some naked chatting!)

Q: How do I change my profile?

A: It's simple! Just click on the "Edit Profile" icon on the left hand side and you'll have the ability to change any field. Remember, keep the info. real and the descriptions sexy!

Q: How do I upload a photo, video, or voice clip?

A: So, looking to show other members a little more of yourself? Excellent! To spice up your profile with any of the above mentioned files, just click on the corresponding icon on the left hand side (ex: "Upload Photos" to add another photo)

CHATTING

Q: How do I contact another member to chat?

A: First be nice and send them a Kiss which lets them know you are interested. If they send you a Kiss back then contact them by either clicking the "Contact" icon in their profile or by composing a new message using your Communicator. If after that, both you and a member decide you want to chat naked then all you have to do is exchange iChat AV / AOL AIM Video IM screen names.

Q: Can people other than the person I'm chatting with see me/us?

A: No. Currently the iChat AV or AOL AIM Video IM software only allows one-on-one contact with a user so it is impossible for an outsider to "enter" your conversation (but you never know when someone will hack it!)

Q: Can I watch two other users chat naked without them seeing me/us?

A: No. Currently the iChat AV or AOL AIM Video IM software only allows one-on-one contact with a user so it is impossible for an outsider to "enter" a conversation (but you never know when someone will hack it!). For now, the only way to experience a chat as an observer is if you are in physically the room with one of the chatters!

Q: iChat AV / AOL AIM Video IM isn't working on my computer. What should I do?

Q: Can the person I'm chatting with record me?

A: Yes, there is third party software available that records whatever is on your computer screen and saves it as a video file. You should therefore use discretion when chatting naked so you don't unknowingly wind up posted somewhere on the Internet!

Q: How I can I record a naked chat session?

A: There is a variety of third party software on the market that will directly record what is on your computer screen. Google "screen record" and you'll get lots of different choices.

Q: Are you recording any of my naked chat sessions?

A: No. We will never record a member's chat session without specifically asking permission before hand.

Q: Can I watch other people and only let them hear my voice?

A: Sure, just leave the lens cap on! What's the fun of chatting naked if the other person can't see you?! If you want to keep your identity a secret, just wear a mask or disguise! It may even be more fun that way.
